The heart of Long Street Backpackers is our lush, central courtyard.  This communal green space is a refuge from the city outside our doorstep, and a place to effortlessly immerse yourself in a vibrant global community of travelers.  


Our hostel also features a fully-equipped communal kitchen, TV room with DSTV (satellite), air-conditioned workspace, and multiple balconies.


Unlike "poshtels" that prioritise private comfort and personal space, Long Street Backpackers fosters a friendly and inclusive atmosphere for guests through our thoughtfully designed communal spaces.
