We have always wanted our hostel to be a place where individual travellers or small groups could come and meet other adventurous types. We do not really cater for big groups or overland tours. Our building consists of sixteen small apartments, ten of which are used as sleeping rooms. Each apartment has a bathroom so in total we have seventeen bathrooms. Is that a record?
In each apartment there is a small dormitory of up to five beds (some have only two). There will also be a double/twin or single room. There are no double or twin rooms with private bathrooms but the bathroom is always right there and you only share with a few others. Towels can be provided free of charge but you should really bring your own when you plan to stay at backpacker hostels in South Africa
Double rooms come with duvets (or doonas) and they also have a desk and chair and other furniture to make your stay a little more homely.
Because we prefer the adventurous backpackers in Cape Town, our rates are always some of the lowest in the city. Linen is included so is storage of your gear if you need to leave some things behind for a while.
The other apartments are all common areas.
