209 Longstreet Cape Town South Africa

There is definitely no shortage of things to do for backpackers in Cape Town. Everybody loves it when they come here and we are proud of our fun and active city.
Where ever you go she will be there. The mother of the mother city, she watches all. You can hike up one of the many different trails or if you can’t be bothered with that, take the cable car.
Soak up the sun on one of Cape Towns many cosmopolitan beaches. They have soft white sand, clear blue water and people bring you ice cream and cold drinks. Throw a Frisbee, kick a footy, whatever.
Cape Town is a great place to do nothing and Long Street Backpackers is a great hostel in Cape Town to chill out and take it easy. There will always be some one to talk to something funny to watch from our balconies. The court yard is sunny and the drinks are cold. So come enjoy what Cape Town has to offer.
The wine here is great. And there are many wine tours for backpackers in Cape Town. Whether you want to learn about wine or just get drunk, you will love the friendly scenic cape wine lands.
Exploited as a prison for centuries, Robben Island now sees more traffic than ever. Nelson Mandela and many other political prisoners we detained here and it now forms an important part of our rich cultural history.
Where two oceans meet? The bottom of Africa? Who cares, it is beautiful. So hire a car or join a day tour and see what the peninsula has to offer. Wind your way through mountains, fishing villages, and surf side towns until you get to the end. Then join the baboons for a picnic. One of the best days for cape town backpackers.
Shop until you drop. If you can’t find what you are looking to buy here, then it doesn’t exist. After spending your dough on clothes and stuff, grab a bite to eat at one of the many outdoor restaurants, or watch a free show in the amphitheatre.
The cold waters around Cape Town are home to large populations of Great White Sharks. Do you have the guts to swim in a little cage next to them? And will you still have your guts when you hop out?
Most adrenalin sports are possible in Cape Town. Skydiving is cheap here along with paragliding. You can Abseil Table Mountain or go kloofing down many other of capetowns nearby ranges. There is sand boarding, surfing, kite surfing and quality diving opportunities too. Professional mountain bike companies thrive here, as do Jet Ski rentals. Obviously there is good mountain climbing trips and unlimited hiking. So there is no excuse to be bored.
The food in Cape Town is great. You can try whatever cuisine your tummy desires. Compared to where most of our visitors come from it is also cheap and the quality of produce is very high.
